I wonder if it might be possible to fade in the background “hiss” as wild track so that the clips become continuous rather than having brief pauses between them.
My other sense is that it is slightly declamatory in style, whereas I suspect he would be more intimate in tone during a conversation. But it’s a remarkable thing to hear.
I agree with your comments, Tim. The GA voice was cloned from the scene in Rothschild where Nathan explains to Hannah and Rowerth how he’s going to manipulate the market so the new bonds can’t be sold. He speaks in an intimate conversational style that you suggested. So that’s AI that turns it into declamation. In fact, every “take” I run of the cloning results in a different tone of voice. So I keep on going until I hear one that seems to work. Also, only short clips can be done right now, hence the gaps between them. I might try joining them better but in any case these are the “early days” of AI and I suspect it will improve rather quickly.
What’s extraordinary is that I was going to suggest exactly the same sequence as a sample!!
Great minds think alike! What is surprising to me is how AI seems to have a mind of its own by changing that conversational tone to declamation. I have learned to get AI to emphasize certain words by capitalizing them, and add a pause by use of a comma.
