Wishing we could talk; I’m such an Arliss fan and want to ask you some questions that only you can answer. I can email you if that’s better and OK.
Why doesn’t TCM have an Arliss festival? Has it been suggested? I’m guessing you have suggested it more than once!
Why is there no DVD of Disraeli? His best film, or nearly so. I have an old VHS tape and it is becoming quite vague and I want to replace it with a DVD which will last far longer.
What do you suggest??

Hi Christopher, I’m glad to report that at least seven Arliss films have received official studio releases on DVD. Unfortunately, DISRAELI is not one of them, nor is THE HOUSE OF ROTHSCHILD. But I’m optimistic that they will be coming out soon. In the meantime, TCM is your best bet for seeing these films. Thanks for asking!
